XYOUNGSTOWN -- Robert Kernan and his bride, the former Tricia Lynn Lightner, both of 14521 Hollywood Ave., Cleveland, were united in marriage June 25 at St. Christine Church by Rev. David Rhodes.
After the noon ceremony the couple were honored during a reception at TJ's in the Holiday Inn, Boardman.
Since returning from a wedding trip to Jamaica, they live at the Cleveland address.
Parents of the bride are John and Patricia Lightner, 2287 Breezewood Drive, Austintown, and the groom is a son of Ginnie Kernan of Austintown and the late Robert Kernan.
Crystals and pearls adorned the bodice and cathedral train of the bride's white satin gown.
The honor attendant, Erica Sailor, wore a pink gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jacqueline Land, a sister of the bride; Dawn Karash; and Marnee Gruber, the groom's sister.
Todd Whited served as best man, and groomsmen were Owen Sedaway, Erik Jeanson, Brian Gaal and the bride's brother, John Lightner. Junior groomsmen were the bride s' nephew, Matthew Land, and the groom's nephew, Max Gruber. Ring bearer was Justus Land, her nephew.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, the bride is a clinical dietetic technician at St. Augustine Manor in Cleveland.
The groom, a project engineer with Swaglok Corp. in Willoughby, earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Ohio University at Athens.
