XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Iryna Anisimova of Odessa, Ukraine, and Chuck Daubner of Boardman were united in marriage July 9 during a ceremony solemnized at noon by the Rev. Nicholas Shori at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
The bride is a daughter of the late Galina Matseva, and the groom is a son of the late Victor and Edith Daubner.
The bride's off-white silk dress was embellished with faux pearls and beading, and featured spaghetti straps and a dropped waistline.
A rose gown was worn by Tetyana Anisimova of Odessa, the bride's daughter and honor attendant.
The duties of best man were performed by Don Rohrbaugh of Austintown.
Also participating in the wedding were Candace Gourno, Lori Daubner and Liana Daubner, the groom's daughters; Isabella Gourno, his granddaughter; and Todd Gourno, his son-in-law.
The bride graduated from Odessa University with a degree in education and owned her own business in Odessa.
The groom holds a master's degree in education from Youngstown State University. He is the manager of training and development at YSU and an adjunct faculty member at YSU and Kent State University Trumbull Campus. He is also the CEO and president of Archangel Pilgrimages and Global Organizational Development in Youngstown.
The couple live at 4553 Simon Road, Boardman.
