Glass anniversary is celebrated during reception

XGIRARD -- Mr. and Mrs. William Glass of Pinecrest Road, were honored by family and friends as they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary July 2 during a reception held at McMenamy's in Niles.
Hosts for the event were the couple's son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Danielle Glass of Brookfield, their son Mark Glass, and their two granddaughters, Lindsay and Alyssa Glass, all of Chicago.
The former Helen Fizet and Mr. Glass were united in marriage on July 2, 1955, at St. Rose Church.
Mrs. Glass retired in 1991 after being employed for 39 years at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
Mr. Glass was employed 14 years at Ohio Leather Works and afterward worked for 30 years at General Motors in Lordstown. He retired in 1994.
