Animal attraction boosts Anderson's line

KNIGHT RIDDER NEWSPAPERS
The challenge these days is to find a celebrity who is not developing a clothing or accessories line. And almost everybody who is anybody has a fragrance connection.
Pamela Anderson is among the latest to enter the fashion arena with the "Pamela Collection" of clothing, jewelry and perfume. A strong animal rights advocate, Anderson is doing jewelry and belts for the Web site www.AlternativeOutfitters.com. It's a resource for nonleather fashion and nonanimal tested cosmetics. It is donating 10 percent of the sales to People for Ethical Treatment of Animals.
The jewelry includes lockets, bracelets and necklaces with engraved inspirational messages such as "Thank you for your shining spirit." Prices run from about $17 to $60.
