XA picnic will be held by Canfield Chapter 3104, AARP, at 1 p.m. Monday at Stacey Pavilion in Austintown Township Park on Kirk Road. Members are reminded to take a table service; those whose last names begin with A-H are asked to take a casserole and those I-Z, a salad. John Gabriele, a one-man-band, will entertain. Reservations and deposits will be taken for the following trips; overnight mystery tour, Sept. 22-23; New York City Rockettes in Pittsburgh, Nov. 7; and a Christmas dinner and show at Riverside Inn, Dec. 11. XA meeting of Cornersburg Happy Seniors will be held Thursday at the Lockwood House in Boardman, where lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. The menu will be stuffed pork chops or stuffed chicken breast. Kitty Saltsman will preside, and there will be a 50-50 drawing and entertainment by Harold and Sheri Blackann.
The following tours are planned; Aug. 13, "Sound of Music" at the Carousel Dinner Theatre; Sept. 11-15, Wildwood, N.J.; Oct. 12, performance of "Menopause" in Cleveland; Oct. 25, Golden Follies; and Dec. 11, Riverside Inn Christmas.

XA meeting of the Golden Circle Seniors of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church activity center with Nicholas Terlecky presiding. Reports will be given by Mary Jean Vrabel, Dolores Schurko and Ann Hritz. September luncheon fees will be collected by Mary Zackasee and Flo Filo. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and there will be a 50-50 raffle, cards and board games.

XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Kenneth Barnhart will lead devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation.
