XNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Michelle Lynette Wheeler, formerly of Youngstown, and Karras Rashod Marshall of Nashville were united in marriage June 25 at the Cathedral of Praise. Bishop Jerry Maynard officiated at the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Pamela Wheeler of Whites Creek, Tenn., and Lance McDowell of Youngstown. The groom is a son of Patricia Marshall of Nashville.
After a reception at Covenant Place, the couple left on a wedding trip to Las Vegas. They live in Nashville.
The bride's bubble gum pink gown was enhanced with sequins and featured a sweetheart neckline, a tulle bodice with spaghetti straps and a full skirt. Her veil was gathered to a jeweled tiara.
Theresa Williams served as the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Carlene Brantley, Desiree & acute; Sanders, Tiffany Colvin, Kenya Bass, Latoya Taylor and Matasha Hodges. The miniature bride was Nyah Dismukes, and flower girls were TyAsis Armour and TyAnna Armour.
Best man was Kyle Marshall, and groomsmen were Kenny Robinson, Prestin Beddingfield, Eldridge Bell, Gary Barnes, Arcentae Brown and Marco Jones. Miniature groom was Kylen Marshall and ring bearer was Eric Marshall. Also participating was Latony Gregory.
The bride graduated from Tennessee State University and is a receptionist at Asurion Insurance Co. in Nashville.
The groom, a graduate of Nashville State Technical Community College, is a computer programmer with Integra Software, also in Nashville.
