XYOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Baptist Church was the setting June 25 as nuptial vows were exchanged by Kelly Jo Pompura of Austintown and Bryan Joseph Pondoff of White Oak, Texas.
The Rev. Dave Watkins officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Paul and Deborah Pompura, 4518 Burkey Road, Austintown, and the son of Patricia Pondoff, 906 White Oak Road, White Oak.
After accepting congratulations during a reception at the Cedars Reception Center in North Jackson, the couple left for a honeymoon at Niagara Falls.
The bride's princess-style gown of white satin was enhanced with crystal beading and featured a chapel train. She held a bouquet of white roses and mini-carnations.
A blue gown was worn by Tiffany Smith, the honor attendant, and red gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Laura Pompura, sister of the bride, and Jessica Hosey. The bride's sister and flower girl, Shannon Pompura, wore a white dress.
Daniel Santoy performed the duties of best man, and serving as groomsmen were J.T. Murphy, a cousin of the groom, and Jeff Jewell. The ring bearer was Jason Hosey.
The couple live at Tarawa Terrace, N.C. The groom is stationed with the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The bride will pursue a degree in business administration at a college in North Carolina.
