XBOARDMAN -- Making their home in Austintown after a honeymoon at Cancun, Mexico, are Nicholas George Demetrios and his bride, the former Lora Lee Lyons, who were married June 25 at Boardman United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Richard and Terri Lyons, 911 Larkridge Ave., and the son of George and Diane Demetrios, 7473 Jaguar Drive, exchanged nuptial vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Ashwin Welch. A reception was held afterward at Mr. Anthony's.
Silver beading and Australian crystals enhanced the bride's white satin gown. It featured a corset back and a chapel train.
Wearing red gowns were the bride's cousin and honor attendant, Julie Bartolone, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Iberis and Tara Lyons, her sisters; Rachel Bartolone and Shannon Lyons, her cousins; Angela Mirone; Cara Belcastro; and Amanda Moritz. The groom's cousin, Katie Demetrios, was flower girl.
Jason Belcastro served as best man, and groomsmen were Joseph Iberis, the bride's brother-in-law; Jim Fitori; Ryan Argior; Christopher Sugar; Josh Colucci; T.J. Krispinsky; and Bill Traynor. Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Nicholas Lyons.
The bride, a substitute teacher in the Youngstown School District, graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education.
The groom earned a degree in accounting at YSU and is a staff accountant with Hill, Barth and King.
