XYOUNGSTOWN -- Krista Lynne Bader and Thomas Andrew Sapp, both of 3411 Eastwoodlands Trail, Hilliard, were married at 2:30 p.m. June 24 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
The Revs. James Oester and Hosea Ekong presided at the wedding, and a reception followed at the Davis Center in the gardens.
The daughter of Ms. Elaine Bader, 3346 S. Glenview Lane, Leetonia, and Mr. and Mrs. James Bader Jr., 14661 Mock Road, Berlin Center, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Risner of Wheatfield, Ind., and the late Lloyd Sapp Jr., delayed their honeymoon and live at the Hilliard address.
The bride's halter, A-line gown of matte satin featured a chapel-length train and was trimmed with lace.
Hazelnut dresses were worn by the honor attendant, Melissa Seman, and the bridesmaids, Teri Bader, Jacquelyn Bader, Jennifer Campbell, Rebecca Ortenzio and Kristen Crooks. Allison Sapp was junior bridesmaid, and Tatjana Wagner was flower girl.
James Warnack III served as best man, and groomsman were Barry Sapp, James Bader, Ty Lucas, Charles Mendolera and Chris Kohl. Garrett Barrera was junior groomsman, and David Bader and Justin Sapp were ring bearers.
The bride earned her bachelor's degree at Kent State University and her master's at Youngstown State University. She is pursuing a doctorate in public health from Ohio State University. The groom earned a bachelor's degree at Hiram College and works as a consultant for the Columbus Health Department in the Division of Health Planning and Promotion.
