Family honors Furries on 60th anniversary

XCANFIELD -- Vincent and Mary Louise Furrie, 9906 Callawoods Drive, were honored with a family dinner July 21 on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary.
Hosting the event were their children and spouses, Dorajean and Ronald Havrilla of Canfield, John and Pam Furrie of Oro Valley, Ariz., and Vincent Jr., and Jill Furrie and Michael and Sonia Furrie, all of Columbiana.
Mr. Furrie and the former Mary Louise Bruno were married July 21, 1945, at St. Ann Church, Youngstown. Mr. Furrie is president of Village Plaza Sparkle Inc. in Columbiana, where Mrs. Furrie was a bookkeeper before retiring.
Mr. Furrie is a World War II veteran.
The couple are members of St. Anthony Church in Youngstown and have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
