'Will & amp; Grace' to air live

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- "Will & amp; Grace," which received a series-best 15 Emmy nominations this month, will begin its eighth and final season with a live episode. The season debut is set for Sept. 29, NBC said Friday. Two versions of the episode are planned for the night -- one live to the East Coast and a second performed live for the West Coast.
Alec Baldwin and Eric Stoltz are scheduled to guest star.
"We love the idea of a live episode because we get to show the audience of 'Will & amp; Grace' what we've known from day one -- we work with the best cast in network television," series creators and executive producers David Kohan and Max Mutchnick said in a statement.
In a cliffhanger ending last season, Grace (Debra Messing) was contemplating an affair with a married man (Stoltz).
The series' Emmy nominations included best comedy series. The Emmy Awards will be presented Sept. 18.
