XCANCUN, Mexico -- A gazebo overlooking the ocean at The Moon Palace was the setting at 3 p.m. June 24 for the wedding of Rene & eacute; Lynn Lisac and William Paul Sarisky III, both of 6265 Klines Drive, Girard.
Afterward those in attendance celebrated with the couple at El Manglar restaurant at the resort. A blessing of the marriage will take place July 29 at Notre Dame Church in Hermitage, Pa., followed by a reception at The Corinthian in Sharon, Pa.
The bride's parents are Karen and Frank Draskovic, 40 Pullam Drive, West Middlesex, Pa., and the late Nickolas Lisac. The groom is a son of William and Marilyn Sarisky Jr., 330 Melody Lane, Hubbard.
Honor attendants were Danielle Fromm and Lori Grace, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids were Kelly Lisac, sister-in-law of the bride; Autumn Lisac, niece of the bride; Erika Zappa; and Nicole Merrifield. Rachel Meszaros also participated.
Best man was Dave Gunia, and groomsmen were Christopher Lisac, brother of the bride, and Kevin Grace, her brother-in-law. The bride's nephew, Nickolas Grace, was ring bearer.
The bride received a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh, and the groom received a bachelor's in exercise science from Youngstown State University. Both earned master's in physical therapy at YSU and are employed as physical therapists, she with Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Warren and he with Action Physical Therapy in Hubbard.
