ST. LOUIS -- Derrek Lee hit his major league-leading 32nd homer, and Jeromy Burnitz and Aramis Ramirez also connected for the Chicago Cubs in a 6-5 victory Saturday over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Ramirez had three hits to help the Cubs end a three-game losing streak in 93-degree heat by beating an injury-ravaged lineup minus four opening-day starters. Albert Pujols was scratched with a mild left shoulder strain, although he drew an intentional walk as a pinch-hitter in the seventh ahead of Mark Grudzielanek's RBI single that cut the deficit to 6-5, and then stayed in the game.
With runners at first and second in the ninth, Pujols' liner to shortstop turned into a game-ending double play when Abraham Nunez was caught off second base.
Besides Pujols, Scott Rolen (shoulder), Reggie Sanders (broken leg) and Yadier Molina (broken hand) are on the 15-day disabled list. Plus, rookie John Rodriguez, who has two homers in six games since replacing Sanders in left field, departed with a sprained right ankle in the third after doubling for the second time.
Lee's 32nd homer matched his career high set last year and helped the Cubs win for only the 10th time in 43 games at Busch Stadium over the last six seasons. Lee is 11-for-31 during a seven-game hitting streak with five homers and nine RBIs. He is batting a major league-best .370.

NEW YORK -- Jose Reyes had four hits, including his major league-leading 10th triple, to lead New York to a come-from-behind victory over Los Angeles as Pedro Martinez earned his 12th victory of the season.
Reyes scored three runs and stole two bases, and his triple in the seventh inning tied the score before Carlos Beltran singled him home with the go-ahead run. Reyes added an RBI single in the eighth.
New York's seventh-inning rally started when Marlon Anderson, pinch-hitting for Martinez, drew a four-pitch leadoff walk from Giavanni Carrara (6-4), who relieved Dodgers starter D.J. Houlton.
Reyes followed with his third hit, a triple into the right-field corner. After Mike Cameron grounded out, Wilson Alvarez relieved for Los Angeles and Beltran singled on the first pitch.
Olmedo Saenz drove in three runs for the Dodgers with a double and a home run on a day when Martinez (12-3) struggled without his best stuff and never hit 90 mph on the radar gun.
Martinez gave up eight hits -- four for extra bases -- in seven innings. He struck out four, raising his National League-leading total to 147, and walked two.
Houlton worked six innings, allowing eight hits with three strikeouts and no walks.

PHILADELPHIA -- Chase Utley homered for the second straight game and rookie Robinson Tejeda struck out five in six innings for Philadelphia.
The Padres acquired third baseman Joe Randa from the Cincinnati Reds for minor league right-handed pitchers Justin Germano and Travis Chick. They also optioned third baseman Sean Burroughs to Triple-A Portland and purchased the contract of left-handed pitcher Craig Breslow from Double-A Mobile.
San Diego may not be done dealing. The Padres are discussing a deal that would send first baseman Phil Nevin to Baltimore for right-handed starter Sidney Ponson.
Nevin was in the Padres starting lineup, batted fifth and went 1-for-3 Saturday.
Tejeda (2-2) was wild, but effective. He held the Padres to a pair of singles but walked five. He struck out five for the third consecutive start.
