Kidnapping suspect turns himself in

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- A New Castle man accused of being involved in a July 15 kidnapping turned himself in to Neshannock Township police and was arraigned Thursday morning.
Police said a warrant also was issued for the arrest of a second man.
Bond was set at $25,000 for Brock Hanna, Mission Meade Drive, accused of kidnapping a woman on July 15. Hanna was charged with criminal conspiracy, kidnapping and false imprisonment.
Police issued a warrant for the arrest of David Anderson III, Graceland Road, who faces charges of criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and making terroristic threats.
According to reports, Anderson believed the woman and her boyfriend had stolen money from him. He held the woman at gunpoint before instructing Hanna to keep her in a basement until the woman's boyfriend was found, police said. The woman escaped eight hours later and contacted police.
