YOUNGSTOWN -- The Friends of the Bob & amp; Tom Show Comedy Tour, starring Pat Godwin, Dan St. Paul, Tim Bedore and Drew Hastings, will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 7 at Powers Auditorium. The comics are regular guests on the top-rated nationally syndicated Bob & amp; Tom Show radio show, heard locally on WNCD 93.3. Audience participation
CANTON -- The Area Coalition of Theatres in Stark County presents the audience participation play "Happy Anniversary, Angel! Love, Gino" Aug. 27 at the Four Points Sheraton, 4375 Metro Circle N.W. The comedy tells the story of the couple's fifth anniversary party with their wild and wacky relatives and friends. Audience members have the opportunity to interact and dance with the actors and participate in the madcap celebration. Edward L. Kuntzman is the director. Doors open 6:30 p.m.; the show starts at 7. CLEVELAND -- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and Goldmine magazine present the sixth annual National Record Show from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 6-7 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Dealers and collectors can display, appraise, buy and sell rock and roll memorabilia from all eras. Admission is free. Nearly 60 booths filled with prime collectible 78s, vinyl records, CDs, and music memorabilia will be set up by some of the leading dealers in the country, and a series of performances will be given on Key Plaza, in front of the Museum, as follows: Saturday -- 9:30-10:10 a.m.: Mean Mother May I; 10:40-11:20 a.m.: Chemically Imbalanced; 11:45-12:25 p.m.: Waterwagon; 12:50-1:30 p.m.: Lazy Lane; 1:55-2:35 p.m.: Greg O'Brien and the Spoodoo Cadillacs; 3-4 p.m.: GONN; 4:30-6 p.m.: Poobah. 'Bat Boy' show
ASHTABULA -- Straw Hat Theatre's production of "Bat Boy: The Musical" will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday and July 28-31. All shows begin at 8 p.m. at the Ashtabula Arts Center, 2928 W. 13th St. The writers have made the show a must-see by filling it with outlandish small-town characters, hilarious songs and a wacky storyline that has been receiving rave reviews from audiences and critics across the country. Tickets are $12 for patron seating, $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $8 for students and children.
