July 13
Felonious assault: Several officers reported being assaulted while near Market Street and Overhill Road.

Theft: A woman in the 60 block of Buena Vista Avenue noticed the validation sticker stolen off her car's license plate.
Theft: Someone stole an undetermined amount of merchandise from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: A man in the 7300 block of Salinas Trail reported the theft of his cellular phone.
Assault: Police responded to a dispute between two neighbors in the 1900 block of Wolosyn Circle in which each reported being assaulted by the other.
Arrest: Officers picked up a 53-year-old Youngstown man wanted on a warrant from Boardman charging him with receiving stolen property.
Drugs: While conducting a traffic stop in the township, police arrested a 31-year-old Lowellville man on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence and possession of marijuana. Officers say he had been drinking and that he had suspected marijuana in his possession.
Theft: A 19-year-old man, no address given, was arrested on a theft charge. He was accused of taking clothing from Wal-Mart.
Stolen property: While on routine patrol, police stopped a Youngstown woman, 31, after they say she had stolen license plates on the vehicle she was driving. The suspect faced a felony charge of receiving stolen property.

Theft: A woman discovered jewelry and a hair device stolen from her apartment in the 500 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Attempted burglary: A man noticed a rear sliding-glass door broken at his home in the 7900 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Attempted auto theft: A man in the 60 block of Lemans Drive found damage to his 1994 Chevrolet Blazer after someone tried to steal it.
Auto thefts/recovered property: A man reported his 1989 Oldsmobile 98 stolen from his apartment in the 4000 block of Hillman Way. Youngstown police found the car, but it was wrecked. They also recovered a 1993 Olds Cutlass that had been stolen from a Shields Road woman.
Theft: A couple discovered that a conversion van they had for sale was broken into at Boardman Benz, 22 Boardman-Canfield Road. Stolen was a DVD player.
Auto theft: A woman in the 4200 block of Hillman Way reported her 1985 Chrysler LeBaron stolen.

Burglary: A man found out someone entered his residence in the 6600 block of Glendale Avenue through a garage door.
Domestic violence: A 48-year-old Boardman woman wanted on a warrant charging her with domestic violence surrendered to police. Officers say she was in a physical altercation with her roommate.
Theft: Police arrested an Austintown man, 24, and a Boardman woman, 21, on theft charges. They were accused of shoplifting items from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Arrest: Boardman police charged a 27-year-old Youngstown woman with resisting arrest, obstructing official business, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of drug abuse.
Drugs: After finding two men asleep in their vehicle at the Taco Bell drive-through, 940 Boardman-Poland Road, police arrested both. Charges against the 18-year-old Boardman man were driving under the influence and possession of marijuana; the 25-year-old Youngstown man faced charges of possession of drugs, having an open container in a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana.
Theft: Two Struthers girls, 15 and 16, were arrested after a theft at Wal-Mart. The younger girl faced a theft charge; the other girl was charged with complicity to commit theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco under 18.
Arrest: Officers charged a 46-year-old Boardman man with assault, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct while intoxicated. He was accused of refusing to leave Dunkin Donuts, 6041 Market St., and trying to harm an employee on his way out.
Arrest: A 15-year-old Boardman boy was charged with one count of voyeurism after police say he was seen peeking in a resident's window.
Drugs: After pulling over his car, Boardman police charged a Youngstown man, 26, with possession of marijuana.
July 15
Theft/criminal damage: A man in the 60 block of Lemans Drive found the steering column in his 1994 Chevrolet Blazer damaged, apparently after someone tried to steal the car.
Auto theft: A woman reported the theft of her 1988 Oldsmobile 88 while she was at Shepherd of the Valley, 7410 West Blvd.
Theft: A woman in the 200 block of Indianola Road discovered someone took a $200, 24-inch mountain bike from her garage.
Theft/attempted vehicular assault: After being asked to leave Cochran Sparkle Market, 4121 South Ave., someone backed up a car as if trying to strike the victim. Four steaks had been taken.
Auto theft/recovered property: Police found an abandoned 1994 Buick Century in Boardman after a West Boulevard man reported it stolen.
Auto theft: A woman in the 60 block of Lemans Drive discovered her 1985 Chrysler New Yorker missing.
Theft: Police arrested a 24-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after someone left a Shell station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying for $40.10 worth of gasoline.
Drugs: After his car was stopped for having a loud muffler, police arrested a 36-year-old Youngstown man and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Police say suspected marijuana was in the vehicle.
Arrest: Township police turned a 31-year-old Youngstown woman over to Youngstown authorities after learning she was wanted on a warrant charging her with passing bad checks.
Vandalism: A bus driver for the Mahoning County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities told police that, while driving the vehicle near Market Street and Stadium Drive, someone hit a front passenger-side window, causing a 2-inch indentation.
Theft: A woman reported a bag of merchandise was removed from her car while she was at Bed Bath & amp; Beyond, 550 Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 200 block of Melrose Avenue said he saw someone in a car stop and toss eggs at his vehicle.
Assault: A man told police he and a friend got into a physical confrontation at the victim's residence in the 400 block of Ewing Road. One of the man's fingers was dislocated in an attempt to block a punch.
July 16
Theft: A woman in the 6300 block of South Avenue noticed the rear license plate was removed from her car.
Breaking and entering: A woman discovered a bicycle missing after someone broke into her garage in the 100 block of Terrace Drive.
Drugs: After pulling over a car in the Boardman Inn parking lot, 7109 Market St., police arrested a Boardman man, 23, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest: Police arrested a Philadelphia woman, 45, at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave., on charges of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. An employee told police she refused to leave, and officers say she struggled with them.
Theft: A woman returned to her car after shopping at Wal-Mart and found a car stereo, a purse and a set of house keys missing.
Criminal damage: A man in the 100 block of Terrace Drive discovered damage to his car.
Arrest: After responding to a report of an underage pool party, police took into custody a 16-year-old Boardman girl. Charges against her were being an unruly juvenile, disorderly conduct while intoxicated and obstructing official business. Officers say she refused to provide her identity and that she had been drinking alcohol.
July 17
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen while she was at Wal-Mart. The purse was found, but her wallet and money were missing.
Theft/criminal damage: Two people found their vehicles were broken into while they were at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: While responding to a suspicious-person call, Boardman police picked up a 21-year-old Youngstown man. He was wanted on a warrant from Boston Heights, Ohio, charging him with two counts of grand theft auto.
Drugs: Two Youngstown men, 29 and 32, were apprehended during a traffic stop and charged with possession of marijuana. Police say one of the suspects had a small bag of suspected marijuana in his pocket and that two bags of suspected marijuana were found in the car.
