Surprise party held to mark Stanavich 50th

XAUSTINTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Joseph A. and Pauline C. Stanavich, 3899 Dunbar St., was celebrated July 2 during a family gathering in Boardman.
The event took place at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Ann Stanavich of Boardman. Participating were other members of the couple's family, Carolyn and Rick Betts of Austintown, Charles Stanavich of Austintown, and eight grandchildren.
The couple were united in marriage July 2, 1955, at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. They are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Mrs. Stanavich is a homemaker, and her husband is retired after working for Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co.
