ON CAMPUS Warren brothers will strengthen OSU swim team

Nate King is a junior for the Buckeyes, while Tyler is just a freshman.
WARREN -- Brothers Nate and Tyler King will be swimming for Ohio State University during the 2005-06 season.
Nate, a junior at OSU, recently competed in the World Trial swimming championships at the Indianapolis Natatorium.
He participated in the 100-meter backstroke (56.96 seconds), 200 individual medley (2:08.20), 200 backstroke (2:04.24) and qualified for the 2008 Olympic Trials.
He set Ohio State's 200-yard IM record (1:48.29) at this year's Big Ten championships in Minnesota. He has the second-fastest Buckeye times in the 200 backstroke (1:45.81) and 400 IM (3:53.65).
He was presented with the Mike Pepee Coaches Award last year.
Nate was given the Mike Cochran Award as OSU's Most Promising Freshman at the conclusion of the 2003-04 season.
He's competing in the Ohio Seniors Long Course Championships at the Canton C.T. Branin Natatorium this weekend. He will swim the 400 freestyle, 200 IM, 100 backstroke, 400 IM and 1500 freestyle.
Majoring in Construction Systems Management at OSU, Nate is a scholar athlete, which means he has to maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average.
Tyler will continue his swimming career at Ohio State this coming fall.
After graduating from Warren Harding High with a 3.6 GPA, he plans to major in Information Systems at OSU.
He set a record in the 200 freestyle (1:46.42) at last spring's Northeast Aquatic Conference meet in Canton. He also won the 100 backstroke and was named the meet's top swimmer.
He was a member of the Raiders' varsity golf team as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
Captain of the Raiders' swim team, Tyler was named Harding's MVP both his junior and senior years. A four-year letterman, he compiled a 20-0 record in dual-meet competition last season.
Eastern Arizona
YOUNGSTOWN -- Corey Maizel, a Ursuline High graduate, will play football at Eastern Arizona College.
A three-year letterman at tackle for the Irish, Maizel (6-4, 300) was Ursuline's lineman of the year, earning first team all-Steel Valley Conference selection as well as all-district and all-state honors.
He helped the Irish (7-5) make the 2005 Division III state playoffs.
Grove City
Dominic Cutrone, an Ursuline graduate, will continue his football career at Grove City.
A 5-10, 210-pound center/defensive end, Cutrone was a four-year letterwinner for the Irish and a first-team all-SVC selection.
He also played first base for Ursuline's baseball team.
