Family faith programs
WARREN -- St. Pius X Parish Community, 1401 Moncrest N.W., will present a series of programs titled, "Be Not Afraid Family Hour" at 6 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays starting August 3-31, and resuming Sept. 7-28. The first session will focus on the living Eucharist.

Annual campground meet
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Crossing Paths TV Ministry will hold its annual campground meeting at Shiloh Resort in Cook Forest State Park, Route 36, Clarington, Pa., July 29-31. A weekend of recreation will be available for families including camping, golfing and canoeing. In addition, the keynote speaker will be Donald L. Johnson of New York, who says he was transformed from a homosexual lifestyle. Musical performances will be provided by Dave Polling and the Massie Family. Praise service of Psalms
CAMPBELL -- The Missionary Society of Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 125 Roosevelt Drive, will present a fellowship of worship and praise service based on the book of Psalms at 6 p.m. July 24. The program is open to the public. The Rev. Robert J. Mason is pastor.
Women's faith conference
AURORA -- Calvary Ministries International's "Women After God's Own Heart" Conference will present "Arise... It's Not Just A Dream!" from Thursday through July 23 at the Bertram Inn & amp; Conference Center, 600 N. Aurora Road. The conference keynote speaker will be Dr. Debora Hooper of Orange, N.J., along with the Rev. Martha Taylor and Chanda London of Youngstown.

Weekly Bible reading

Theology for young adults
YOUNGSTOWN -- St. Patrick, St. Brendan and St. Matthias churches in Youngstown, and St. Michael Church in Canfield, will sponsor "Theology on Tap" for young adults in their 20s and 30s on Thursdays at 7 p.m., beginning July 28 at Bobby D's Restaurant on Midlothian Boulevard. Each gathering begins with a social time followed by a speaker. The schedule is as follows:

August 4: Nick Shori, pastor of St. Paul's in New Middletown, "Cloning, Stem Cell Research and other Hot Topics."

Christianity's roots
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Place Christian Center, 104 W. Evergreen Ave., will present its first Shabbat service at 6 p.m. July 22 , 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. July 23, and 3 p.m. July 24. The services will feature Messianic Rabbi and Pastor Michael Zietler and his wife, Gail, who are Jewish. They have been singing and teaching about the Jewish feasts and roots of the Christian faith for several years. In 1998, they established Baruch Ha Shem Messianic Congregation, in Kingston, N.Y.
Sharing healing message
CANFIELD -- Life Care Ministry Center, Lucille Orr Ministries Inc., 5357 Raccoon Road, will present a program at 7 p.m. July 25 featuring Jennifer Underwood, who will share her healing testimony.
Underwood was badly injured from an automobile accident for many years and was unable to play the violin due to a neck injury. Through her faith she was transformed and healed. She no longer is a performer, but is now a minister and plays prophetic violin music. Personal prayer ministry will be available as well as anointing with oil for the sick.

Signature Sound concert
LIBERTY -- Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill Road, will present Ernie Haase and Signature Sound in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 and will be available at the door. Haase and Signature Sound have appeared in concert in the United States and internationally as a part of the Bill Gaither organization.
Outdoor Youth Challenge
SALEM -- Salem First Christian Church, 32725 Coffee School Road, will present Outdoor Youth Challenge from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 23. The program will consist of mind teasers, team building outdoor challenges, live bands, speakers, prizes and food.

Flame Fellowship meeting
BOARDMAN -- The Greater Youngstown chapter of Flame Fellowship International will meet at noon Monday at the Georgeanna Parker Activity Center in Boardman Park. Guest speaker is the Rev. Edie Smith, senior pastor of El Shaddai Dominion Ministries, who will give her testimony.
Gospel show auditions
YOUNGSTOWN -- Christian Revival and Discipleship Center, 1514 Virginia Ave., will hold auditions for its upcoming gospel stage production, "The Soul Train Preacher," at 6 p.m. July 22 and at 2 p.m. July 23 at the Virginia Avenue location, formerly Jefferson School. New pastor to preside
BOARDMAN -- The Rev. Walter Coy will be installed as the new pastor of the merging congregations of Boardman Christian and First Christian churches at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday at Boardman Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Previously, the Rev. Mr. Coy, a native of Canfield, was serving in a Conneaut church and has served in other churches in Northeast Ohio. A graduate of Youngstown State University, he earned his master of divinity degree in psychology and counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He was ordained in the Disciples of Christ denomination in May 1989 at Canfield Christian Church.
Mr. Coy, his wife, Joyce, and their son, Alan, will be residing in the Canfield area.
Women's luncheon
YOUNGSTOWN -- First Calvary Baptist Church, 126 E. Wood St., will present the "Feast of Salads" women's luncheon at 3:45 p.m. July 23 A short program is scheduled featuring guest speaker Sister Burton from Pilgrim Baptist Church.
