Austintown pair observe golden anniversary

XAUSTINTOWN -- Joseph H. "Bud" and Betty Lou Hahn, 3947 Nassau Court, were honored with a reception July 2 on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The event was held at the Mahoning County Coon Hunters Club in Ellsworth and hosted by their children and their spouses, Kirk and Lori Ruse of North Jackson, Ken Hahn of Youngstown, Jill and Jim White of Struthers, Jim and Melissa Hahn of Youngstown and Jeff Hahn of North Jackson.
Mr. Hahn and the former Betty Lou Hanley were married July 2, 1955, at Old North Church in Canfield. She is a homemaker, and he was a truck driver for Leaseway Motor Freight in Lordstown, retiring in 1998. Mr. Hahn is also a Navy veteran.
The couple have eight grandchildren.
