Woman accused of hitting car
AUSTINTOWN -- A Woodhurst Drive woman faces charges of aggravated vehicular assault, accused of running into a car that contained her live-in boyfriend and another man.
Carrie L. Sielschott, 23, is accused of hitting the other car operated by Allen Santiago, 23, with whom she lived, and Mark Bigler, 21, of Frostwood Drive, on Monday evening.
According to police reports, Sielschott and Santiago had argued about Santiago going out with friends instead of taking out the trash and doing the dishes.
The couple both left the house in separate vehicles, but Santiago returned because one of his friends had forgotten something. Santiago told police that he believed Sielschott was trying to pull in front of his vehicle to keep him from leaving but hit the car.
Santiago was listed in serious condition Thursday in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
A warrant charging Sielschott with two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, a felony, was issued Thursday.
