Multiple charges get Sharon man 14 years

MERCER, Pa. -- A Sharon man will spend five to 14 years in prison for an episode last August that resulted in the shooting of a bystander.
James Teague, 33, of West Budd Street, was sentenced by Judge Christopher St. John in Mercer County Common Pleas Court to three to six years for possession of 36.1 grams of crack cocaine, one to five years for possessing a firearm, and one to two years for recklessly endangering another person.
The sentences were ordered served consecutively to each other and also to an earlier sentence of two months to one year for disorderly conduct.
According to court documents, on Aug. 5, 2004, Teague fired a handgun at the Kings and Queens, a bar at 638 Lee Ave., Farrell, striking a woman bystander. The .38 caliber bullet passed from the woman's left leg to her right. The shooting followed an argument between Teague and several other people at Roemer Boulevard and Lee Avenue in Farrell.
Teague also later fought with Sharon Police officers at the Mercer County Jail and threatened to shoot them and beat up their families.
