XNORTH JACKSON -- Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic was the honeymoon destination of Stephen Pleasnick and his bride, the former Jennifer Mohr, both of 1628 Juniper Drive No. 96, Bowling Green, following their 2 p.m. wedding June 18 at St. James Church.
The Rev. Dave Merzwelier presided for the daughter of Al and Mary Ellen Mohr, 9410 Gladstone Road, and the son of Steve and Peggy Pleasnick, 228 Fourth Ave., Berea. An evening reception was held afterward at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
The bride wore a white halter gown trimmed with beading, crystals and embroidery.
Black and silver gowns were worn by the honor attendant, the bride's sister, Tracey Porter of Royal Oak, Mich., and the bridesmaids, Tammi Throop of Woodville, Jill Altaffer of Montpelier and Lynne Mohr of Austintown, the bride's sister-in-law. Makayla Throop of Woodville was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Dave Anderson of Bowling Green, and groomsmen were Joe Hudok of Van Buren, Matt Buckland of Bowling Green and Kelly Waggener of Raleigh, N.C. The bride's nephew, Zachery Brown of Los Alamos, N.M., was ring bearer.
The couple are graduates of Bowling Green State University with bachelor's degrees in education. The bride is a teacher in the Toledo Public Schools, and the groom teaches at Wood County Educational Services in Bowling Green.
They live at the Bowling Green address.
