ALENA DEVINEMARK VOLLMER
XLIBERTY -- Church Hill United Methodist Church was the setting at 3 p.m. June 25 for the wedding of Alena Lia Devine of Liberty, a daughter of Robert and MariLynn Devine of Hermitage, Pa., and Mark Monroe Vollmer, a son of Jack and Pamela Vollmer, all of Mentor.
The Revs. Carl West and Tom Johns presided at the ceremony, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at The Corinthian in Sharon, Pa.
The couple live in Howland.
The honor attendant, Jennifer Page of Mentor, wore black, as did the bridesmaids, Leann Devine of Hermitage, sister of the bride; Lacey Rosser of Austintown; and Melissa Vollmer of Mentor, the groom's sister. Andie Horvath of Liberty was flower girl.
Best man was the father of the groom, and groomsmen were Justin Devine of Hermitage, brother of the bride; Mark Frantz of Hermitage, her uncle; and Matt Taafe of Liberty. Frank Occhibove of Liberty was an usher, and Leslie Horvath of Liberty was ring bearer.
The couple are graduates of Youngstown State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in social work. He earned a bachelor's in music and is a music teacher at Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown.
