YOUNGSTOWN -- Investigators continue to search for the identity of a woman found Sunday morning, the victim of a possible homicide, police spokesman Lt. Robin Lees said Monday.
According to reports, witnesses saw a light blue or silver car on Parkcliff Avenue drive over something on the street that they later realized was a body.
The woman was wearing black pants, a white shirt with a brown print, white tennis shoes and white socks, but carried no identification.
She is believed to be in her 50s, with light brown hair and blue eyes.

YSU student appointedto board of trustees
COLUMBUS -- A Youngstown State University junior has been appointed to serve on the university's board of trustees.
Gov. Bob Taft named Louise Popio of Canfield to the board as a student trustee. Popio's term ends May 1, 2007. She replaces Charity Ann Pappas, whose term expired, the governor's office said.
Popio is a computer science major and serves as a multimedia developer at the university, the governor's office said.
Popio is also a tutor for the Center for Student Progress and social chair of the Catholic Student Association, and participates in several other activities.
Nicest lawn contest
YOUNGSTOWN -- Neighbors from Hilman and Glenwood avenues and Midlothian Boulevard recently held a contest to see who has the nicest lawn.
"The purpose of it is to make sure the neighborhood doesn't slip backward like some of the other surrounding ones have," said Jim Stein, who lives on Midlothian.
There was a tie for first place between West Midlothian neighbors Judy Snyder and Randal Firmi.
The two will have signs placed in their yards to show that they have pride in their neighborhood.
Open enrollment figures
McDONALD -- The McDonald School District's open enrollment numbers will rise to 160 effective with the 2005-06 school year after three years of open enrollment at the district.
Superintendent Michael Wasser said there will be 35 new open enrollment pupils at Roosevelt Elementary School and 20 new students at the high school in the new school year.
Students who have been accepted into the district under open enrollment have been notified, the superintendent said.
The open enrollment policy in the district accepts students from anywhere in the state. Open enrollment students each bring an additional $5,400 into the district.
2 meetings canceled
MINERAL RIDGE -- The Weathersfield Township Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday and the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting set for 7 p.m. Thursday have both been canceled for lack of agenda items.
Boy thrown from vehicle
WARREN -- A 17 year-old Ravenna boy is in intensive care at St. Elizabeth Health Center after being thrown from the hood of a vehicle Friday evening.
Police are investigating the mishap that occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of Francis Avenue Southeast. According to the police report, the driver applied the brakes and the boy fell off the vehicle, striking his head.
He was taken to St. Joseph Health Center and later transferred to St. Elizabeth in critical condition.
