Fake: A counterfeit $5 bill was passed at the BP Gas Station, 599 E. Main St.
Dispute/criminal trespass warning: After a verbal dispute with the owner's ex-wife, a Sawmill Run Road resident and his wife filed a criminal trespass warning against the woman.
July 5
Theft: A resident in the 400 block of Hickory Hill Drive tried to buy a motor vehicle on the eBay Web site and has recently discovered that the purchase was possibly a scam, meaning he lost $4,704.
July 10
Falsification, drug abuse: Police arrested a 21-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of falsification and a 29-year-old Youngstown man on drug abuse charges after finding a marijuana cigarette in the ashtray.

July 4
Weapons offense: A man was arrested in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments on a charge of improper discharge of a firearm.
Unauthorized Use: A vehicle was used without permission in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.
Unauthorized use: A 1991 gold Ford Taurus was used without permission in the 2000 block of Raccoon Road.
July 5
Theft: A wallet was reported stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz gas station.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.
Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft from auto: A lady's purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Maple Spring Drive.
Attempted breaking and entering: Someone attempted to break into B & amp;R Wholesale Tire, 116 N. Meridian Road, but no entry was gained.
July 6
Theft: $202.23 in diesel fuel was stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Theft: Coolers were taken from the rear of the building at Ianazone's Pizza, 4278 New Road.
Theft: A credit card, cell phone and currency were taken from a residence in the 100 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Tools, a chain saw and a welder were taken from Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, 3495 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft, drugs: A man was arrested on charges of stealing 22 video games from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Avenue and possession of drugs. The man was found in possession of Lorazepam.
Theft: A male is suspected in a theft at a residence in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.
Theft: A black Chevrolet Beretta was stolen from the BP Oil, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Customers walked out on a food bill at Denny's Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave.
Fraud: A Visa account was accessed by a person claiming to be from MCI at an apartment in the 1000 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A building was spray painted at Wedgewood Park, 1671 Lancaster Drive.
Fraud: A Visa debit card was used fraudulently at a residence in the 200 block of Third Street.
Drug offense: A Warren man was charged with driving under suspension and drug abuse of cocaine.
Drug offense: A man was issued a summons for drug abuse of marijuana charge on Wickliffe Circle.
Drug offense: A man was issued a summons on a drug offense and possession of drug paraphernalia at Mahoning Avenue at Meridian Road.
July 8
Drug offense: A Louisville, Ohio, woman was arrested at state Route 46 at Colgate Drive and charged with drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia .
Theft from auto: Ninety OxyContin and 90 Oxycoden were reported stolen from a vehicle at Davidson's, 3636 Canfield Road.
Breaking and entering, structure: Tools were taken from a residence in the 700 block of South Turner Road.
Theft: Two suspects were issued summonses for theft at Wal-Mart.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A tire valve was cut and a pool pump and hose were damaged at a residence in the 7000 block of Fairview Road.
July 9
Drug offense: A man was issued citations for drug abuse at North Edgehill Avenue and Oakwood Avenue.
Lost or stolen Purse: A woman's purse was lost or stolen at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Jewelry was taken from a residence in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Aggravated robbery: A man driving a gold Chrysler Concord said he had a gun and robbed the BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave., of an undetermined amount of cash.
Breaking and entering: Floor jacks from a detached garage were stolen in the 700 block of Fairview Road.
Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested in a stolen car at Interstate 680 and Market Street .
Theft: A bicycle was reported stolen at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
July 10
Criminal trespass: A man was issued a summons on a criminal trespass charge involving Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: $10 worth of gasoline was stolen from True North Shell, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Counterfeit money: A $50 bill was passed at Eat N Park, 5457 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Currency was taken from a residence in the 700 block of Ohltown Road.
Theft: Two juvenile males were arrested on a charge of stealing canned air at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Bedding was taken at J.C. Penney Co., 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Entry was gained through an open window and a stolen property list is to follow from a break-in at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West Apartments.
