July 11, 1930: Two Penn-Ohio bus drivers thwart a robbery outside the bus parking station on Oak Hill Ave., when on driver kicks the bandit, giving the second driver time to pull his revolver and shoot him. The bandit is in St. Elizabeth Hospital under a police guard with a bullet wound of the shoulder.
Gus Gregorovetz, 58, of Campbell is overcome by heat while working at the Campbell Works of Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Co. and dies in South Side Hospital.
