CANFIELD -- The city has lifted its water conservation advisory. The waterline was fixed Friday evening and there is also no boil advisory.
Talent festival planned
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Pig Iron Literary & amp; Art Works Inc. will host a Community Street Festival from 1:30 to 10:30 p.m. July 30 on North Phelps Street downtown between Commerce and Federal streets.
The free festival will feature music, poetry readings, an artist's bazaar, book sale and talent show. The talent show will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Preregistration is required for the show, which has a four-minute limit per entry.
People who donate $10 will be recognized in the festival program as a "Friend of Pig Iron and the Mahoning Valley."
Beekeeper meeting
EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Columbiana-Mahoning County Beekeepers Association is hosting its annual "Get to Know the Beekeepers" meeting 2 p.m. July 17 at the red barn pavilion in Beaver Creek State Park.
The meeting is open to the public. Participants will have opportunities to meet several local beekeepers and see a live demonstration of honeybees. Information for those who would like to become a beekeeper will be available.

Environmental bonds
HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Mercer and Lawrence counties will receive $1.4 million each over six years from legislation passed last week to implement a $625-million environmental bond approved by voters in May.
The legislation provides for the creation of a County Environmental Initiative program, through which each county will designate at least $1 million in priority projects to be funded by the bond issue, according to Sen. Bob Robbins of Greenville, R-50th. The legislation authorizes the commonwealth to borrow the money during a six-year time period for a collection of environmental and conservation initiatives known as "Growing Greener."

The Ohio Department of Public Safety, along with LifeBanc, a northeastern Ohio organ recovery agency, and other organizations has established an online Ohio Donor Registry.
Ohioans will now be able to make decisions on donating organs based on information on the Web site, www.lifebanc.org.
