Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will conduct an AARP Driver Safety Course from 1 to 5 p.m. July 26 and 28. Attendance is required at both sessions to complete the course. SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, has scheduled a concert on the lawn Wednesday. The event is free and open to the public. A strawberry and ice cream social will be available at 6 p.m. inside the center, and the Cortland Community Band will perform from 7 to 8. Seniors Speak Out will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. A Youngstown State University facilitator will answer questions and talk about the upcoming election, and light refreshments will be served. Reservations are being accepted at the center for a bingo party to be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 21. Lunch will be included in the $5 cost. A day trip to Canterberry Feast and Show in Erie, Pa., is planned for Aug. 30. The bus departs from Howland at 8:30 a.m., and the trip includes a tour of Presque Isle, the Maritime Museum, and the feast and show, which begins at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $67 with a $30 deposit. A trip to see "Sound of Music" at Carousel Dinner Theater is planned for Sept. 8 with a 10:30 a.m. departure. Cost is $60.
