Fred Zagotti of Austintown aced the 125 yd. No. 18 hole at Lakeside Golf Course in Lake Milton. He used a pitching wedge. Witnessing the shot were Hank Spencer, Gene Rosella and Joe Cheslik.
Jimmy Winterburn of Girard used a 7-iron to make his first hole-in-one on the 135-yard No. 6 hole at Stambaugh Golf Course. Mike Constantini witnessed the shot.
Bob Santor of Youngstown, former Cardinal Mooney basketball coach, aced the 140-yard No. 6 hole at Stambaugh Golf Course with a 9-iron. The shot was witnessed by Dick Lucerall.
Benny Harrell of Youngstown made ace on the 140-yard No. 6 hole at Stambaugh Golf Course with a 9-iron. Witnesses were W. Vinson, S. Currie, C. Campbell and R. Dixon.
Bill Joyce of Boardman aced the 137-yard No. 17 hole at Turkana Golf Club in East Liverpool. Joyce used an 8-iron. His shot was witnessed by Curt Pratt and Ron Sanders.
Jimmy Gavozzi of Youngstown aced the No. 8 hole at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Coitsville. The 74-year-old used an 8-iron on the 135-yard hole. Witnesses were Pete Korchnak, John Lapin and Nelson Gustafson.
Jim Walker of Poland scored a hole-in-one on No. 13 (147 yards) at Salem Hills. Walker used a 9-wood.
