DONNA BOROVITCKYCHRISTIAN FREEBOROUGH
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Donna Michele Borovitcky and Christian Reed Freeborough, both of Boardman, exchanged nuptial vows during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony June 4 at St. Christine Church.
The Rev. David Weikart presided for the daughter of Steve and Patty Borovitcky of Youngstown and the son of Ronald and Andrea Freeborough of Pittsburgh.
After accepting congratulations at the Maronite Center, the couple left for a wedding trip to Aruba.
The bride's strapless gown of white chiffon was trimmed with embroidery and crystals and flowed to a chapel-length train.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Stephanie Bogerd, and the bridesmaids, Jill Cole; Angela Borris, sister of the groom; and Amanda Stevens, Leslie Prosser and Heather Eck. The bride's cousin and goddaughter, Lexis Williams, was flower girl.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's father, and groomsmen were Guy Amatangelo, cousin of the groom; Jeff Borris, brother-in-law of the groom; Kevin Borovitcky, brother of the bride; Sergio Amatangelo, cousin of the groom; Steve Katz; and Casey Bogerd. The groom's nephew, Dante Borris, was ring bearer.
The couple are employed at The Assumption Village. The bride, a graduate of Youngstown State University, is a licensed social worker. The groom is a registered dietitian, having graduated from the University of Pittsburgh.
