XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Anthony Church was the setting June 11 for the wedding of Amy Zockle of Dublin and Joseph Woods of Upper Arlington.
The couple exchanged vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony officiated by the Rev. John DeMarinis. After a reception at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Centre in Boardman, they left on a wedding trip to Costa Rica. They live in Dublin.
The bride's parents are Dominic and Rosemary Zockle of Liberty Township. Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. John Woods of Upper Arlington.
The bride's strapless satin gown featured a sweetheart neckline and chapel-length train.
European rose-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jill Dolan, and the bridesmaids, Sloane Kates; Jenna Nightingale; Rebecca Woods, sister of the groom; Jill Woods, his sister-in-law; and Jodi Zockle, sister-in-law of the bride.
The groom's twin brother, Jeff Woods, was best man, and groomsmen were Aaron Dolan; Joseph Herban; Michael Osborne; Jason and Jonathan Woods, brothers of the groom; and Brett Zockle, brother of the bride.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree at Ohio Northern University and a master's at Otterbein College, both in business administration. The groom is a graduate of the University of Dayton with dual bachelor's degrees in finance and marketing.
Both are employed by Nationwide Insurance Corp. in Columbus. She is an IT business consultant specialist, and he is an IT senior business analyst.
