XYOUNGSTOWN -- Alison Cara Mauter and Ryan David Bloomer, both of Austintown, were married June 4 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
The daughter of Ronald Mauter and Dianne Mauter, both of Toledo, and the son of Dave Bloomer of Missouri City, Texas, and Patricia Bloomer of Brookfield exchanged vows in an afternoon ceremony before Monsignor Michael Cariglio. A reception followed in the church hall before the couple left for a honeymoon in Niagara Falls.
The bride, who works in the accounting office of Indalex Aluminum, Girard, is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Youngstown State University, where she earned a bachelor's in accounting.
The groom is a police officer in Campbell and a case manager for juveniles on house arrest in Trumbull County after earning a degree in criminal justice at YSU.
The bride was attended by her sister, Andrea Mauter of Toledo, maid of honor; the groom's sister, Kayla Bloomer of Brookfield, Heather Keller of Struthers and Jennifer Winland of Toledo, bridesmaids; and Peyton White, flower girl. All wore periwinkle dresses.
Andrew Sowers of Youngstown performed the duties of best man, and Damon Nieves of Orlando, Fla., and Tony Mills and Brian Theriac, both of Toledo, were groomsmen.
The couple are making their home in Austintown.
