CANFIELD
June 27
Drug abuse: A 26-year-old Canfield man was arrested in the 10 block of Newton Square on a charge of drug abuse after heroin was found on him. A fight preceded the arrest between the man and his girlfriend's father, who was trying to get the drug away from him, so he wouldn't use it.
July 1
Drug possession: A 25-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on East Main Street on charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police found a small bag of marijuana and rolling papers.
July 3
Shoplifting: A 47-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on a theft charge for stealing a tube of ointment from Giant Eagle and issued a criminal trespass warning for all Giant Eagle stores.
Drugs: Police arrested a 37-year-old Brookfield man on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after finding him with a black and gold pipe with marijuana residue and a small bag of suspected marijuana in his pants pocket.

Drug Offense: A Warren man was arrested on charges of drug abuse of cocaine at state Route 46 and Willowcrest Drive.
Criminal damage: Damage to a vehicle window was reported at Phoenix Disposal, 38 S. Meridian Road.
Drug offense: An East Rochester, Ohio, man was arrested on a charge of possession of cocaine at North Four Mile Run Road and Oakwood Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Hand and air tools were taken from a garage in the 100 block of Shutrump Court.
Theft: A crossbow was stolen from a residence in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Burglary: Keys were stolen and a 2005 GMC Envoy taken from the 4000 block of Lanterman Road. The vehicle was recovered by Poland police, who made an arrest.
Theft: A woman is a suspect in a theft at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A trailer was stolen from the future site of Home Depot in the 6000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Counterfeit: A counterfeit $50 bill was passed at McDonald's, 850 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Drug offense: Two Austintown men were arrested on drug charges, one for drug abuse cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and causing physical harm to an officer. The second man was charged with drug abuse of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse. The two men were placed in county jail after being arrested at Pete and Charlie's Pub, 41765 Mahoning Ave.
Property damage: A vehicle window was damaged by a baseball in the 600 block of North Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was spray painted in a carport in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge at Billy's, 40 S. Meridian Road.
