Festival features St. John's service

YOUNGSTOWN -- Congregants from churches in the Wick District-Smoky Hollow neighborhood will gather at St. John Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., at 10 a.m. Sunday for a service as part of the 2005 Summer Festival of the Arts.
This second annual service is among the events involving Wick Neighbors, Inc.
The event celebrates the partnerships formed among churches and other Wick District institutions that are revitalizing the Wick District-Smoky Hollow neighborhood.
The service is open to all faiths.
Participating congregations will be St. John Episcopal Church, First Presbyterian Church, Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church, New Beginnings Outreach, the old First Christian Church of Youngstown and Ursuline High School.
The Rev. Richard Murphy, associate principal at Ursuline High School and pastor at St. Mary's Church in Mineral Ridge, will speak at the service.
St. John Episcopal church will also have a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in the parish house.
Wick Neighbors, Inc. will have a tent throughout the festival.
