Insect extraction expert Eric McCool suits up before his second day of removing a giant bee hive from the rafters of St. Mark's Church near Knox, Pa. McCool was stung more than 130 times the day before as he removed the first 100 pounds of the hive. McCool estimated that 500 to 600 pounds of wax, honey and bees were in the rafters. Below, the hive extends about 8 feet down the rafters.
