XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Columba Cathedral was the setting at 2 p.m. May 28 for the wedding of Tara Lynn Hackett and Michael Hanuscak, both of Columbus.
The Rev. Lawrence Fye presided for the daughter of Terrence J. and Patricia S. Hackett of Canfield and the son of Paul and Joan Ruchtie, also of Canfield.
Afterward, a reception was held at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles, then the couple left on a wedding trip to Aruba.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line gown of rum-pink satin embellished with metallic beading and embroidery.
Kristen Cleveland was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Carly Gedra, Caitlyn and Nicole Hackett, Katie and Lisa Hanuscak, Colleen Hernan, Lauren McMahon, Alyssa Pallante, Kristen Ruchtie, Gina Tringhese, Jacquelyn Turner, Ashlea Morrison and Cassie Olson. Maggie Cho was flower girl.
Best man was Mitch Prozy, and groomsmen were Ian, Patrick and Ryan Hackett, Jacob and Timmy Hackett, Jeff and Nick Hanuscak, Mike Prozy, Michael Pulakos and Paul Ruchtie. Andrew Stille was ring bearer.
The bride received her bachelor's and doctor of pharmacy degrees from Ohio State University and recently began a two-year residency program at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, and OSU graduate school.
The groom earned an associate degree at Columbus State University and completed an apprenticeship with the Ohio Carpenters Local 200 in Columbus. He is a carpenter with Maghie and Savage Inc., Columbus.
