XSTRUTHERS -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during 2 p.m. ceremony June 10 as Jami Lynn Blackann, 7519 E. Parkside Drive, Boardman, and Jeffrey Michael Kidd, 246 Melrose Ave., Boardman, were united in marriage in the chambers of Judge James R. Lanzo.
The bride is a daughter of Randi Blackann of the Parkside Drive address, and the groom is a son of Thomas and Lynn Kidd of the Melrose Avenue address.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception held at The Elm Tree.
For their honeymoon, they traveled across the country to Seattle, Wash., where they will live.
The bride wore a empire gown of white chiffon with a chapel length train trimmed in seed pearls, and she had small white flowers and pearls in her hair.
Rebecca Sumner of Boardman was the honor attendant, wearing a periwinkle-blue gown.
The groom's brother, Christopher Kidd of Henderson, Nev., performed the duties of best man.
The couple are graduates of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. The bride holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, and the groom's degree is in biology.
