July 2
Drugs: Police said that, during a traffic stop, a 22-year-old Poland man admitted having suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana pipe in his vehicle. He faced charges of drug abuse (marijuana) and possession of drug-abuse instruments.
July 3
Arrest: After a traffic stop, a Youngstown man, 27, wanted on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a traffic charge, was arrested.
July 4
Possible burglary: A neighbor told police she saw a man remove what appeared to be stereo equipment from a Cortland Drive residence. Officers saw that a screen to a first-floor window had been cut.
Criminal trespass: A Colonial Estates Drive man reported someone entered an apartment through a ground-level window. Two drawers were found open, but nothing appeared to be missing.

June 30
Burglary: A man discovered a bicycle missing after someone entered his garage in the 4000 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Theft: A customer pumped $27.68 worth of gasoline at a Shell station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road, and drove away without paying.
Theft: A woman discovered someone stole her mailbox from her front yard in the 7700 block of Amberwood Trail.
Arrest: A Canfield man, 23, surrendered to Boardman police and was arrested on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault.
Drugs: After stopping a car near Doral Drive and Tiffany Boulevard, officers arrested a 45-year-old Struthers man on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Drugs: A Boardman man, 36, was apprehended during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 224 near the entrance to Boardman Township Park. Charges against him were possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of drugs.
July 1
Theft/criminal damaging: A man discovered an in-dash compact-disc player missing from his car at Frederick Dodge, 7554 Market St.
Theft: A woman noticed her flip cellular phone missing from her home in the 800 block of Indianola Road.
Theft: A man in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue reported the theft of a license plate.
Burglary: A woman discovered someone broke into her home in the 8200 block of South Avenue.
Theft: A man reported $100 was removed from his table while he ate at Denny's Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Possible theft: Someone alleged a former worker at Four Jacks Filling Station, 1215 Boardman-Poland Road, stole money from the business.
Assault: A woman told police her son was assaulted in the Skate Connection parking lot, 7080 Tiffany Blvd.
Assaults: Two women reported each was assaulted by the other during an altercation at Jillian's Entertainment in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: After his vehicle was pulled over near Hudson Drive and Midlothian Boulevard, a Canfield man, 22, was arrested. He faced one felony count of carrying a concealed weapon.
Arrest: Boardman police arrested a 27-year-old Austintown man and turned him over to Campbell authorities. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with probation violation.
Arrests: Two 17-year-old Youngstown boys were arrested at Skate Connection after a juvenile was assaulted there. One suspect was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and felonious assault; the other faced charges of carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with evidence, both felonies.

Criminal damaging: A man left Jillian's Entertainment and noticed a driver's-side window on his vehicle was broken.
Auto theft: A man reported the theft of his vehicle from his home in the 400 block of Mathews Road.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Sarku Japan in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A customer left Dollar General, 271 Boardman-Canfield Road, and failed to pay for merchandise.
Theft: A woman discovered her cellular phone missing while she was at The Car Wash Inc., 8525 South Ave.
Theft: A woman left TGI Fridays, 7165 Tiffany Blvd., and saw that someone removed hubcaps from her vehicle.
Stolen property: After police conducted a registration check on a vehicle at the Microtel Inn, 7393 South Ave., and determined it had been stolen in Youngstown, they arrested a Youngstown man, 30. He was charged with receiving stolen property.
Theft/drugs: Officers arrested a 50-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after property was stolen from Dollar General, 271 Boardman-Canfield Road. The suspect also was charged with possession of heroin, a felony, and possession of drug-abuse instruments, a misdemeanor, after police say they found suspected heroin in the car.
Arrest: During a traffic stop, Boardman police arrested a 22-year-old Campbell man. Charges against him were obstructing official business, resisting arrest, operating a vehicle under the influence and driving under suspension.
July 3
Theft: Someone took a TV from a room at the Wagon Wheel Motel, 7015 Market St.
Theft: A motorist left a Shell station, 5135 Market St., without paying for gasoline.
Theft: A woman reported a stereo was removed from her vehicle while she was at Walgreen Pharmacy, 525 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Criminal mischief: A man told police his vehicle was defaced when it was parked in front of his residence in the 4000 block of Dover Road.
Attempted burglary: Police responded to a home in the 70 block of Lemans Drive after someone tried to gain entry through a bedroom window.
Criminal mischief: A man discovered someone tossed eggs and struck his car's rear bumper near U.S. Route 224 and Glenwood Avenue.
Arrest: Officers picked up a 30-year-old East Liverpool man wanted on a felony warrant from Boardman charging him with forgery and misuse of a credit card.
Drugs: After her car was stopped, a 37-year-old Marion, S.C., woman faced a charge of possession of marijuana after police say they found suspected marijuana in her purse.
Arrest: After responding to a report of a suspicious man in a parking lot, Boardman police apprehended a 38-year-old Greenville, Ky., man. He was charged with receiving stolen property after officers say he admitted the vehicle he was driving had been stolen.
Drugs: Police charged a 39-year-old Boardman man with one count of possession of marijuana after contending they found suspected marijuana under his vehicle's driver's-side seat during a traffic stop.
Drugs: During a traffic stop, a Boardman man, 30, was charged with possession of drug-abuse instruments.
Arrest: A 49-year-old Youngstown woman was taken into custody. She was wanted on a felony warrant from Boardman charging her with theft.
July 4
Robbery: A woman told police she was robbed while in the Microtel Inn parking lot.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 700 block of Orlo Lane found damage to his vehicle.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 700 block of Annawan Lane reported a lamp post in her front yard was damaged.
Burglary: A man in the 6700 block of Lockwood Boulevard discovered someone had broken into his residence.
Breaking and entering: A woman in the 6800 block of Lockwood realized property was missing from a storage garage after someone broke in.
Burglary: A man in the 7400 block of West Boulevard discovered his apartment was broken into. A computer was missing.
Burglary: A woman in the 30 block of Shields Road found someone had entered her apartment.
Drugs: After stopping his vehicle, police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of possession of marijuana. Officers say they found a box containing suspected marijuana.
Arrest: Police picked up a 24-year-old Poland man wanted on a warrant from Boardman charging him with theft.
