Meeting is set for water, sewer projects

LAKE MILTON -- Residents have scheduled a meeting 7 p.m. Thursday at Lake Milton Fire Station to discuss water and sewer projects with government agencies.
There will be a panel discussion with representatives from several government offices. Residents will have the opportunity to speak to representatives at the meeting.
The meeting will address $13 million in grants and loans from the Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Department of Agriculture. The money was intended for Lake Milton's water and sewer systems and was granted in 2000, but little has been done, says coordinator Suzanne Baker.
Residents are concerned that if not used soon, the money may be lost and the project will not be completed, Baker said.
For questions, call Baker at (330) 654-1523 or Mary Ann Gardner at (330) 654-5569.
