Drug charges issued for men at local pub

AUSTINTOWN -- Two township men were arrested on drug charges over the weekend in the parking lot of a Mahoning Avenue bar.
Richard E. White Jr., 36, of Moorefield Avenue, was charged with drug abuse cocaine and trafficking in cocaine, both felonies, and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.
Dustin Hollis, 22, of Rita Avenue, was charged with drug abuse cocaine and permitting drug abuse in a motor vehicle.
Police working in the lot of Pete & amp; Charlie's Pub saw White leaning into a car in which Hollis was in the driver's seat.
When the officer approached, White tried to hide jeweler's bags in his hand into the waistband of his pants.
White then dropped the bags and fled when an officer stopped him.
The jeweler's bags, one of which police said was found inside Hollis's car, contained suspected cocaine.
