1418 AUXILIARY
XA meeting of 1418 Auxiliary Seniors will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at The Oak View in Struthers with Henry Testa presiding. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and cards and bingo will be played. Plans will be made for the August picnic. The tour hostess will collect for the Mountaineer trip and distribute seating for Wheeling Downs. There are still openings on the Mountaineer and Paul Anka and the Greektown trips. For more information call Ellen Testa at (330) 788-9430.

AARP 4339
XAustintown Chapter 4339, AARP, will have a picnic July 11 at Stacey Pavilion in Austintown Park. Tickets are $3, and members are to take casseroles, vegetables, salads, and desserts along with table service and wrapped prizes for bingo. Bingo will be played at 2:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Help is needed to set up tables.

XBrownlee Woods Senior Citizens will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Community United Church of Christ, corner of Sheridan Road and Midlothian Boulevard, for crafts and cards. Those attending should take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be furnished. New members are welcome.
CAMPBELL
XMembers of Campbell Senior Citizens will hold a picnic from noon to 5 p.m. July 12 at the Community Center in Roosevelt Park. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and will be followed by games. Call Kay Shabella at (330) 755-0459 by Thursday for reservations or cancellations.
CORNERSBURG
XCornersburg Happy Seniors will meet at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the Lockwood House in Boardman. The meal will be a choice of baked chicken or sloppy joes. Kity Saltsman will preside. Bingo will be played, and there will be a 50-50 raffle.

XGolden Circle Seniors of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church activity center with Nicholas Terlecky presiding. Reports will be given by secretary Mary Jean Vrabel, treasurer Dolores Scharko and sunshine chairman Ann Hritz. Mary Zackasee and Flo Filo will collect the luncheon fees for the month of August. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. A 50-50 raffle will be held, and cards and board games will be played.

XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Florence Rearick will lead devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. RETIRED POLICEMEN,FIREMEN AND WIDOWS
XThe annual picnic for Retired Policemen, Firemen and Widows will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. July 14 at the Chestnut Hill Pavilion in Mill Creek Park. Dinner will be served at 5; food assignments for a covered dish are A to H, salads; I to Q, casseroles; and R to Z, desserts. Meat, bread and beverages will be provided. Members are also asked to take their own table service and a small, wrapped gift for the drawing. Fellowship will follow the dinner.

XS.O.A.R. Chapters 27-2 and 27-6, Steelworkers Retirees Local Unions 1330 and 1331, will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Sam Camens Center. President Tom Bergman will give a talk on the ISG VEBA Prescription Drug Program. Refreshments will be served afterward.

XReservations are being taken for Rose Senior Parishioners' picnic to be held July 14 in Tod Park in Girard. Members should call (330) 539-6700 by Friday. Cost for the catered meal is $8.50. Games will begin at 10 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon. Bingo and boccie will be played.

XChemical and metallurgical department retirees of U.S. Steel Corp. will meet at 9 a.m. July 11 at the Janus Restaurant in Boardman. Other retirees are welcome.
