LEGAL Attorney replaces Sjudge

The out-going judge resigned after allegations emerged.
STROUDSBURG, Pa. (AP) -- Monroe County's newest judge was sworn in to fill the vacancy left by Mark Pazuhanich, who resigned after pleading no contest to charges he groped a 10-year-old girl at a teen pop concert.
Judge Arthur Zulick, 50, a Stroudsburg attorney, fills the vacancy left by Pazuhanich, a former judge and district attorney who resigned in July 2004 after pleading no contest to charges stemming from a Hilary Duff concert in Wilkes-Barre.
He received 10 years of probation for two counts of indecent assault, one count of child endangerment, one count of corruption of minors and public drunkenness.
Judge Zulick took the oath of office Friday. He was nominated for the post by Gov. Ed Rendell.
Voters will decide in November whether to make Judge Zulick's job permanent by electing him to one of two open seats on the bench.
Pazuhanich was arrested weeks after being elected a judge in November 2003.
