XNEW SPRINGFIELD -- Living in Columbiana after honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico, are Edward Steven Melanson and his bride, the former Marcy Lynn Musguire, who were married May 27 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Frank Podolinski officiated at the wedding, and the couple were honored afterward at a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel hall in Youngstown.
Parents of the bride are Keith and Coral Musguire of New Middletown, and the groom is a son of Donald and Barbara Melanson of Austintown.
The bride wore an ivory and black satin princess gown featuring embossed floral embroidery on the bodice and hem and two-toned piping on the skirt.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jill Musguire, and the bridesmaids, Judy Stottsberry, Carmela Austin, Michele Sammartino, Dawn Jackson and Diana Koonse. Junior bridesmaids were Katlyn Jackson and Emily Kline, and flower girl was Rachael Kliner.
Todd Mazei was best man, and groomsmen were David Melanson, Jason Zelonish, Ken Pappalardo, Mark DiGiacomo and John Newhard. Christopher Bolish was a junior groomsmen, and Brandon Bolish was the ring bearer. Chip Joans was an usher.
The bride holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing her master's in counseling. She is employed by Nationwide Insurance.
The groom attended Kent State University and is a supervisor with Cantar Polyair Corp. in Youngstown.
