XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Making their home at 28 Ward Ave., after a honeymoon in Rivera Maya, Mexico, are Michael James Fox and his bride, the former Kristin Marie Birch, who were married at 1 p.m. May 28 at St. Paul the Apostle Church. The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated, and a reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Rick and Nancy Birch, 5235 Sycamore Hill Drive. She is a customer-service representative for LaFrance Cleaner in Boardman and is studying middle-childhood education at Youngstown State University.
The groom is a son of Jim and Linda Fox, 2294 Clyde St., Poland. He attended YSU and works for Dennis Mikkelsen Plumbing in Poland.
The bride wore a strapless gown trimmed with Swarovski crystals, glass beads and pearls.
Her attendants were Dyana Davanzo, maid of honor; Jessica Cene, matron of honor; Lisa Kalbasky, Dr. Jessica Fox, the groom's sister-in-law, Trish Kahler, Kristy Zende, Judy Surgenavic, Kim Schiavoni and Erin Wonder, bridesmaids; Lauren Birch, the bride's sister, and Courtney Mountford, her cousin, junior bridesmaids; and Avery Francis and Annabelle Himes, the bride's cousins, flower girls. They wore amethyst gowns.
Dr. Chris Fox, the groom's brother, was best man; Pat Birch, the bride's brother, Grant Dawson, Dennis Mikkelsen, Nick Lombardo, Brandon Covan, Dan Johnson, Ron Carcelli and John Ihnat were groomsmen, and Vaughn Francis, the bride's godson, was ring bearer.
