JESSICA HIZNAYDANIEL PFEIFER
XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- A reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman to honor Daniel Edward Pfeifer and his bride, the former Jessica Lynn Hiznay, following their 2:30 p.m. wedding June 4 at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
The Revs. Nicholas Shori and Timothy O'Neill presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Jerome and Ann Marie Hiznay, 13055 Unity Road, New Springfield, and the son of Dr. Bernard and Elaine Pfeifer, 12 Page Brooke, Carlisle, Mass.
The bride's ivory gown was embellished with pearls and lace.
Her sister, Ann Marie Karabin, was the honor attendant. She wore a lilac gown, as did the bridesmaids, Melanie Gertz, Virginia Tucker, Catherine Love, Kate Gallata, Jennifer Ekland, Jennifer West and Rebecca Wanless. Hannah Karabin, the bride's niece, was the flower girl.
The duties of best man were performed by Matthew Gallata, and groomsmen were Josh Baratz, Timothy Shagnon, Gregory Wiseman, Timothy Lee, Robert Wilson, Will Michael, cousin of the bride, and David Pfeifer, brother of the groom. Ushers were Ron Karabin, brother-in-law of the bride, and Jeffrey Michael, her cousin. Ring bearer was Corey Karabin, her nephew.
The couple have returned from a wedding trip to Antigua and live in Carlisle. The bride, a graduate of the College of Wooster, is a field geologist with Environmental Compliance Services in Bow, N.H. The groom, who attended the College of Wooster and graduated from the University of Massachusetts, is employed with United Parcel Service in Boston.
