Dercoli honored, new officers intalled at annual dinner for Struthers Rotary

BOARDMAN -- Struthers Rotary held its annual President's Dinner June 27 at the Holiday Inn to honor outgoing president Mike Dercoli.
Chairman of the event was Anthony Quahliero.
Members Mary Ann Morell and Paul Paris spoke of Dercoli's achievements, and Dercoli presented Vanessa Fuentes, the club's exchange student from Chile, with her diploma from Struthers High School.
Special awards of appreciation were presented to Tom Baringer, Quahliero, Daniel Becker, Wendy Noble, Judee Patterson, Nick Blinsky, Mary Kropinak, Mike Evanson and Kathy Dercoli. The Rotary's Paul Harris Fellows award was presented to Mike Krake and Tom McIntee.
Taking office
The event also featured the installation for incoming officers. Jerry Haber conducted the induction ceremony for Tom Baringer, a financial adviser with VALIC Financial Advisors, who will serve as president as the club celebrates its 50th anniversary. Other officers for the upcoming year are: president-elect, Al Sauline; vice president, Bob Wilson; treasurer, Mike Evanson; and secretary, Mary Kropinak. Chairmen will be: club service, Quahliero; community service, Bryan Higgins and Jerry Wansack; international service, the Rev. Philip Rogers and Mike Krake; and vocational service, Wendy Noble and Jaque Mickler.
