XThe 55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church with Gayle Hollowell and Jayne Williams serving as hostesses. Members should take a casserole for lunch. New members are welcome.
1418 AUXILIARY
XA meeting of 1418 Auxiliary Seniors will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at The Oak View in Struthers with Henry Testa presiding. He is taking all reservations or cancellations at (330) 788-9430 until Monday. Birthdays and anniversaries will be honored, and cards and bingo will be played. New members are welcome.

XRetirees of Ajax Magnethermic will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cafe 422 for the annual Valentine's Day luncheon. Spouses and friends are invited.

XA meeting of Cornersburg Happy Seniors will be held Thursday at the Lockwood House in Boardman. Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m.; the menu will include baked chicken and stuffed roast beef. Kitty Saltsman will preside, and students of Dorothy Schwers will entertain. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Doris Snyder will discuss the trip to see "Beauty and the Beast" at Carousel Dinner Theatre on March 30.

XGirard REAC No. 2172 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Eagles Hall, Wilson Avenue. Members should take their own table service for the covered dish luncheon. Ora Terlesky will preside.
GOLDEN CIRCLE
XGolden Circle Seniors of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church activity center with Nicholas Terlecky presiding. Reports will be given by Mary Jean Vrabel, secretary; Dolores Scharko, treasurer; and Ann Hritz, sunshine chairman. Mary Zackasee and Flo Filo will collect luncheon fees for March, and yearly dues of $5 will also be collected. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and there will be a 50-50 raffle, cards and board games.
LOWELLVILLE
XLowellville Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Feb. 11 instead of Feb. 4 at Holy Rosary Educational Center. A lunch of fish and scalloped potatoes will be served by chairman Erma Chachedi and her committee. Cost is $4. All reservations or cancellations should be made with Eileen Flora at (330) 755-0467 by Feb. 8. A business meeting with Marie DeSantis presiding, and entertainment will follow.
MARTHA LUPSE
XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Millie Barnhart will lead devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. XRoyal Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Feb. 7 at Boardman Community Center with John Alfona presiding. A valentine celebration will be in charge of Jennie Dundee and Mary Tonti. Members have until Monday to make reservations with Lee Alfona at (330) 781-9228. Cost is $6.50. No late reservations can be accepted. Homemade chicken noodle soup is on the menu. Dues of $5 are being collected until March 7. Spouses who want to attend functions, including the Christmas party, are required to join.

XSOAR Chapters 27-2 and 27-6 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sam Camens Center. Chris Verich of Ohio Consumers Counsel in Columbus will talk about utilities. Refreshments will follow.

XSt. Stanislaus Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Monday in the church. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and board games and refreshments will follow.
YSU FREETIMERS
XYoungstown State University Freetimers will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny's restaurant in Boardman. All YSU retirees and friends are welcome.
