"Book Discussion Series." "Oh My Darlin' Valentine." Join the fun for stories, songs and a valentine craft for school-age children at Poland, Feb. 10; and for children of all ages at New Middletown, Feb. 3. Both at 4 p.m.
"Family Story Time." Stories and more for the whole family at Austintown, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
"Celebrate the Arts." Come and enjoy the artwork of selected Boardman area students in grades K-6 at Boardman, 6:30-8 p.m. Feb. 15. Music by the Boardman Glenwood Middle School Jazz Band, light refreshments.
"Happy Chinese New Year: 2005 is the Year of the Rooster." Celebrate with stories, a craft and get a fortune cookie for children of all ages at Main Library, 3 p.m. Feb. 5.
"Cutting Paper: The Art of Illustrating and Decorating with Cut-Outs." See books that are made with cut paper pictures, and try it yourself for children in grades K-6 at Main Library, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 15.
"Celebrity Pajama Jam." Sleepy time fun for the whole family with stories and craft and featuring Tricia Perry from WKBN-TV27 at Poland, 7 p.m. Feb. 28.

"Be My Valentine." Celebrate the holiday by making a Valentine craft for grades 7-12 at West, 4 p.m. Feb. 9.
"Candy Boxes." Come and decorate a tin box to fill with candy, grades 7-12 at Austintown, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7.
"Play to Win." Identify your favorite college team logos -- past and present. Score high -- win big? Players correctly identifying all logos will qualify to win an energy snack pack for grades 7-12 at Boardman, during library hours.
"Name That Candy Bar." Got a sweet tooth? Name all the candy bars correctly -- winner receives a prize for grades 7-12 at Canfield and Sebring, during library hours.
"Love Bites." Guess the number of candy hearts in our jar and win 'em all, for grades 7-12 at Poland, Feb. 1-15, during library hours.
"The Ring's the Thing." Nothing says "Be my Valentine" like a ring, and now you can make a special one for your sweetie -- or for yourself for grades 7-12 at Brownlee Woods, 6 p.m. Feb. 9; Campbell, 4 p.m. Feb. 1; and Struthers, 6 p.m. Feb. 7.

"Lunch & amp; Learn at the Library: African-Americans in Youngstown - 44 Years Later." Leon Stennis, coordinator of diversity initiatives at Youngstown State University, will highlight African-Americans who played prominent roles in Nineteenth Century Youngstown.
