Gubany-Kurka wedding planned for late May

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Carol and Donald Gubany of Youngstown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Gubany of Lakewood, to Michael Kurka, also of Lakewood.
Mr. Kurka is a son of Michael Kurka and Helen Holman, both of Middleburg Heights.
May 28 has been chosen for the couple's open ceremony at 2 p.m. at St. Edward Church. Invitations will be sent for an evening reception at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
Miss Gubany is a registered nurse with Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Ohio State University in Columbus.
Mr. Kurka, a graduate of Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's in psychology, is a client relationship manager for Ohio Savings Bank in Cleveland.
